Consultations include a 30-minute phone or in-person consultation, a 1-2 page referral report, and a follow-up phone call before your trip.​​

With the guidance of a local who keeps one foot in the east and one foot in the west, ​your travel itinerary to India can be tailored to your specific interests and budget. My services are ideal for those looking to travel on their own, but with an insider's help.

My consultations include advice on travel routes, cultural etiquette, health & hygiene, what to pack for your journey, and general do's-and-don'ts for the newcomer. My referral reports include a list of my favorite cultural sites, accommodations, restaurants and stores. I can also provide a list of my personal contacts for drivers, local artisans, and more.​​

SOUTH INDIA
My homeland of subtropical South India has its own unique cultures, languages and geographies that are distinct from the Northern states. These are the places in South India that I am most familiar with:

- Tamil Nadu: including Auroville, Pondicherry, Tiruvannamalai, Chidambaram, Gingee and Kanchipuram.

- Kerala: including Munnar, Thekkady/Kumily, Alleppey and Cochin.

With some of the most ancient cities on the planet, North India is often the India that outsiders imagine. There is both a chaotic intensity and a serene sense of spirituality that coexist in a way that could only happen in North India. These are the places in North India that I am most familiar with:
